  • ECLS-SHOCK Analysis: ECLS Does Not Reduce 30-Day Mortality in Cardiogenic Shock Regardless of OHCA

    Among infarct-related cardiogenic shock patients with or without pre-hospital cardiac arrest, routine use of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) did not improve 30-day mortality but led to increased bleeding and peripheral vascular complications, according to a sub-analysis of the prospective ECLS-SHOCK trial.
