    In patients with recent myocardial infarction (MI) who experienced a composite endpoint of cardiac death, nonfatal MI or unplanned revascularization, coronary atherosclerotic plaque activity was not associated with this primary endpoint. However, in a secondary analysis, a composite of cardiac death or MI demonstrated an association with plaque activity, a new study shows.
