  • Invasive Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing Independently Associated with Clinical Outcomes in Post-Fontan Adults

Invasively measured exercise hemodynamics are associated with impaired exercise capacity and elevated N-terminal pro–B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) levels in adults who have undergone Fontan palliation, according to new data suggesting that they may be more sensitive in predicting clinical outcomes than resting hemodynamic measurements.
