    A meta-analysis of 23 studies — and a second analysis with an unpublished dataset — demonstrated that all-cause mortality is likely reduced in patients when they do not receive saphenous vein grafts (SVGs) while undergoing coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) and instead receive total arterial revascularization (TAR).
