  • DCB Beats Uncoated Balloon in Multiple Outcome Measures for In-Stent Restenosis, but DES Shows Lower TLF: 5-Year Registry Data

    The use of drug-coated balloon (DCB) angioplasty resulted in better overall outcomes than uncoated balloons for in-stent restenosis (ISR), but higher target lesion failure (TLF) rates, than drug eluting stents (DES), according to new long-term registry data from Sweden.
