Adjunctive intravascular ultrasounds (IVUS) are rare in the U.S., despite increasing rates of use and data showing the use of IVUS during percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) is associated with reductions in long-term mortality, a new study of the Premier healthcare database shows.
