    Preprocedural glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) levels indicate a greater risk for death after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in patients with low HbA1c levels (≤5.5%) and higher risk for myocardial infarction (MI) with higher HbA1c levels (>8%), according to a large registry analysis released Monday.
