Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement in Patients with Coronary Chronic Total Occlusion
Highlights
- • More than half of TAVR patients have concomitant coronary artery disease (CAD), 6% have chronic total occlusion (CTO).
- • This study showed that CTO subgroup of CAD who had TAVR was associated with increased in-hospital comorbidities.
- • Studies are needed to evaluate the optimal revascularization strategy and role of mechanical circulatory support devices.
