This year, we celebrated in Rouen the 20th anniversary of the 1st trans-catheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) performed by Alain Cribier and Hélène Eltchaninoff . Despite a fabulous development of transcatheter replacement for severe aortic stenosis, it is astonishing that all these years, there has been no implementation in our practice of a dedicated device to treat pure native aortic regurgitation (AR).
