  • Invasive Management and In-Hospital Outcomes of Myocardial Infarction Patients in United States Safety-Net Hospitals

    Abstract

    Aim

Safety-net hospitals (SNHs) look after a higher proportion of uninsured patients and are often located in deprived areas. This study aimed to determine whether there are differences in the clinical characteristics, treatments and outcomes of patients presenting with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) in SNHs versus non-SNHs (N-SNHs).
