The word “freedom” has taken on a meaning that was previously unknown to me. I used to love this word. Today, the word is used to express political bias in a way that has been destructive, not only to our politics but also to our health. We hear, “I don't want anyone telling me to wear a mask or to keep distance from others or to avoid large gatherings.” Those who say this defend it as their freedom to do what they want as though it was a patriotic expression. Well, I, for one, have had it with this expression of entitlement masquerading as freedom.
