An elevated neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR) has been associated with increased mortality and major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) across the coronary artery disease clinical spectrum [ ]. An association of an elevated NLR has even been demonstrated with larger perfusion defects, by non-invasive testing, in a stable coronary artery disease population [ ].
