In this edition of Cardiovascular Revascularization Medicine , Rigatelli et al. present a single-center, retrospective analysis of outcomes in patients treated with the Biotronik Orsiro stent. They review the results of 1161 consecutive patients treated with 2327 Orsiro stents within their own institution over a 6-year period with a mean follow-up of 35.6 ± 17 months. They report very low global rates of target lesion revascularization, target vessel revascularization, stent thrombosis, and cardiovascular mortality and analyze clinical predictors of negative outcomes within their patient population [ ].
