Transradial approach (TRA) has emerged as the preferred vascular access for coronary angiography and intervention. Randomized controlled trials have demonstrated decreased rates of bleeding and vascular complications, and a mortality benefit associated with TRA in a wide range of patients with coronary artery disease.
