Chelating therapy to treat coronary artery disease has been suggested for more than 50 years but never gained wide acceptance. In the current issue of CRM , Lewis et al. reported differential outcomes of edetate disodium (EDTA)-based infusions among stable post-anterior and non-anterior myocardial infarction patients as a subgroup analysis of the TACT study.
