    Abstract

    Background

    Direct stenting offers many potential advantages in appropriately selected lesions. Coronary artery calcification increases the complexity and risk of adverse eventsassociated with percutaneous coronary intervention. This study aimed to examine the feasibility of direct stenting after treatment with orbital atherectomy (OA).
