  • Culprit-Only vs Multi-Vessel Percutaneous Coronary Intervention in Patients with NSTE-ACS - A Meta-Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials

The multivessel disease (MVD) identified angiographically is a known independent predictor of worse outcomes in patients presenting with myocardial infarction. Revascularization strategies have continued to evolve over the years with most recent COMPLETE (Complete Revascularization with Multivessel PCI for Myocardial Infarction) trial favoring MV-percutaneous interventions (MV-PCI) for patients with ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). However, there remains a lack of data for patients with non-ST elevation acute coronary syndrome (NSTE-ACS). Accordingly, the purpose of this study was to perform a meta-analysis of all the studies from randomized controlled trials (RCTs) to compare culprit vessel PCI (CV-PCI) in patients presenting with NSTE-ACS.
