  • Observational Study: Advanced HF, SCD Account for 18% of Mortality at 2 Years Post-TAVR with Newer-Generation Devices

Advanced heart failure (HF) and sudden cardiac death (SCD) accounted for nearly a fifth of deaths at a median 2-year follow-up after transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) with newer-generation devices, according to a multicenter prospective cohort study, although HF-related death was reduced compared to a previous study of TAVR with older-generation devices.
