    Malnutrition was independently associated with higher 4-year mortality risk in patients with heart failure (HF) and severe secondary mitral regurgitation (SMR) who received medical therapy alone, but not in patients who underwent transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER) plus medical therapy for treatment, a new substudy of the COAPT trial shows.
