  • COAPT-Ineligible FMR Patients Show Higher 1-Year Death, HF Hospitalization vs. COAPT-Eligible Patients: TVT Registry Analysis

    An analysis of patient outcomes after mitral transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (M-TEER) shows that patients with functional mitral regurgitation (FMR) ineligible for the COAPT trial had a lower rate of technical procedural success and higher rates of 1 year death and heart failure hospitalization (HFH) as compared with COAPT-eligible patients.
