  • COMPLETE OCT Substudy: Nearly Half of STEMI Patients Had Obstructive Non-Culprit Lesions

    A substudy of the COMPLETE randomized trial, presented Sunday at the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions 2019 in Philadelphia, showed that nearly half of patients presenting with ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) and multivessel disease who were assessed by optical coherence tomography (OCT) had obstructive non-culprit lesions containing complex vulnerable plaque morphology.
