A 2026 statistical review article by the Journal of the American College of Cardiology reveals that U.S. adults have increasing rates of high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, stroke and heart failure and decreasing rates of smoking cigarettes and heart attack deaths, pinpointing areas for improvement in cardiovascular disease treatment.
