    MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Among patients for whom transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER) for symptomatic moderate-to-severe or severe mitral regurgitation (MR) was attempted but failed (aborted, acute failure or delayed failure) necessitating mitral valve surgery, those with aborted TEER saw worse outcomes, according to late-breaking trial results presented Tuesday at Transcatheter Valve Therapies (TVT) 2021.
