At 12-months follow-up, patients with severely poor left ventricular (LV) function and coronary artery disease who are undergoing complex percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) do not have better outcomes with elective LV unloading with a microaxial flow pump, results from the CHIP-BCIS3 trial show.
