A sirolimus-eluting stent (SES) saw a numerical improvement in target lesion failure (TLF) rates for diabetes mellitus (DM) at 5-year follow-up compared to a zotarolimus-eluting stent (ZES) but did not maintain the 1-year statistical significance, the latest report from the SUGAR study shows.
