    Oral anticoagulants failed to reduce the 60-day incidence of device-related thrombosis (DRT) in left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO) patients versus dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) in the ANDES trial but oral anticoagulants may still be a “reasonable and likely safer antithrombotic strategy,” it was reported on Sunday at Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) 2025.
