A state-of-the-art review reports drug-coated balloons (DCB) are useful in the treatment of several cardiovascular conditions, including in-stent restenosis (ISR), long lesions, bifurcations and more, but safety and efficacy are device-specific. More data are needed for the use of DCB in coronary artery disease (CAD).
