FDA approves tirzepatide for reducing cardiovascular risk in adults with type 2 diabetes
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved tirzepatide to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events—including death, nonfatal myocardial infarction and nonfatal stroke—in adult patients with type 2 diabetes.
