In this issue, Pérez de Prado and colleagues report results of the Epic O2-RANGO study, with planned five-year clinical follow-up of real-world use of the Angiolite stent, a thin-stent cobalt‑chromium sirolimus-eluting stent with three-layer biostable coating [ ]. The stent was previously approved for routine clinical use in Europe, after earlier studies demonstrated very favorable late lumen loss, even as compared to everolimus-eluting stents [ ], and excellent observational clinical results at two years [ ]. The five-year results confirm the earlier clinical data.
