  • SENIOR: Short DAPT better with DES than BMS in elderly CAD patients

    DENVER — An everolimus-eluting stent with biodegradable abluminal polymer used with short-term dual antiplatelet therapy showed better results than a similar DAPT regimen used with a bare metal stent in elderly patients with acute coronary syndrome, according to results of the SENIOR trial released Wednesday at the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) conference.
