Edwards Lifesciences announced that its Sapien 3 Ultra got Europe's CE Mark for transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) in severe, symptomatic aortic stenosis patients. The Ultra model uses a new delivery system and sheath and adds an "on balloon" design that makes valve alignment unnecessary, the press release said.
