  • Radial or femoral access leads to similar results in STEMI patients, study shows

    Patients undergoing primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) for treatment of ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) will not have any differences with respect to ischemic or bleeding events or survival, regardless of whether the operators use radial or femoral artery access, according to trial results presented Monday at the American College of Cardiology Scientific Sessions 2019.
