  • CardioMEMS implantable monitor reduces hospitalization in NYHA Class III HF patients at 1-year follow-up

The implantable CardioMEMS Heart Failure System led to lower pulmonary artery pressures and less hospitalization at 1-year post-implantation in patients with New York Heart Association Class III heart failure (HF) and who had at least one HF hospitalization within the previous year before being implanted with the device, according to results presented Sunday at the American College of Cardiology Scientific Sessions 2019 in New Orleans.
