Started in 1981 by Senate staffers who set out to satirize the very people and places that employed them, this bipartisan musical comedy group performs popular songs with rewritten lyrics that reflect current political headlines as well as events in pop culture. Their most recent hits have included Barackin’ Around the Christmas Tree, Liberal Shop of Horrors, Cash for Codgers and Fly of the Tiger. Join us on Monday, February 28, 2011 for dessert and an entertaining evening featuring the Capitol Steps.
